WELCOME TO HIGHLANDS FARM Connemaras, Thoroughbreds & Exotic Parrots.
We are situated high on a plateau overlooking the hills to the beachside town of Ballina. Gerard and I moved here from our home in Nerang QLD in 2004 to expand our interests in exotic parrots. We chose this lush 40 acres for its beauty, location and climate. The high rainfall and humidity is an ideal place for South American and African parrots to thrive and breed.
The farm also gave me the opportunity to re-unite with my first love - horses - in particular the Connemara.
